The Blue Jackets have signed there 1st round pick Defenseman John Moore to a Entry Level Contract. 
The Toronto Maple Leafs have resigned tough guy Andre Deveaux, terms of the contract undisclosed. It is hard to imagine Brian Burke not resigning a young tough guy. 
Goaltender Martin Gerber has signed with the KHL. Gerber most recently played with the Leafs and played decent in the couple starts he had before seasons end, but for Goalies the NHL is getting harder and harder to make with only 60 jobs up for grabs and 100's of goalies. 
RFA Forward Thomas Plekanec has resigned with the habs, it is a 1 year deal worth 2.75 million dollars. Could this signing be the start of the trades? I will get into this later on the "Rumors" page.
Edmonton Oilers have signed defenseman Denis Grebeshkov to a 1-year 3.15 million dollar contract. They successfully avoided salary arbitration. 
The Thrashers have resigned RFA Boris Valabik terms undisclosed. 
Defenseman Dmitri Kalinin has signed a 2 year deal with a team in the KHL. Kalinin had his best years with the Buffalo Sabres. 
4th Overall pick of this years entry draft forward Evander Kane has signed an entry level contract. Kane turns 18 on Augest 2nd (my birthday) so the AHL is not an option for him.
